Andrew Antonjuc
(1943, Pervomajsk, Nikolayev region – 2013, Nikolayev)

1962 – Graduated from Odessa Art College (teachers: A. Atsmanchuk, T. Yegorova).
1970 – Acknowledged to the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
1989 – Honored Artist of Ukraine.
1993 – Awardee of the “Vasyl Stus” Prize.
1994 – State Prize of Ukraine in the name of Taras Shevchenko.
1996 – Honorary citizen of Nikolayev. Nikolayev, Ukraine.
1997 – Winner of the prize “Golden Trident”.
2000 – Achieved silver medal from the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
2002 – Achieved gold medal from the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
2006 – Man of the Year. Nikolayev, Ukraine.
2007 – Awarded the title “People`s Artist of Ukraine”.

Member of the Odessa nonconformist movement.
Member of the apartment exhibitions in Odessa and Moscow in 70s.
He lived and worked in Odessa.
