Yuriy Kovalenko
(1931, Chernigov, Chernigov region – 2004, Odessa).

1959 – Graduated from Odessa Art College (teacher N.Pavljuk).
1969 – Graduated from Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinema (teachers: I. Kluge, I. Korotkov and V. Hovraleva).
1990 – Acknowledged to the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
1959-1960 – Worked as a make-up artist in the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater.
1960-1965 – Worked as a make-up artist in the Odessa Music and Drama Theater.
1970-1981 – Taught at the Odessa Art School.

He lived and worked in Odessa.
